a CT brain scan of a 97-year-old gentleman at the time of injury. He had slipped and had a fall on level ground with a minor head injury. CT scan initially showed no intracranial hemorrhage and he was discharged with medical advice. Subsequently, he had progressively worsening left-sided weakness and clumsiness but did not go to the hospital immediately in view of the pandemic. b He attended the hospital 7 weeks and 3 days after his initial minor head injury. The new CT showed a newly diagnosed right-sided chronic subdural hematoma with mass effect and midline shift. Despite the delay in presentation, he had a good recovery after emergency burr hole drainage
